This weekend we had a wedding in Fredericksburg...which turned out to be absolutely beautiful despite the torrential downpour all the way there on Friday, so I'll be blogging it very soon. :)
On the way back, we decided to stop off in Austin to grab a bite and say hi to some friends. Starting with first things first after a wedding...COFFEE, or in this case yummy flavored rootbeer and free wireless at Progress Coffee on East 5th.
We were having trouble deciding on lunch, but saw a blog post about all the new airstream trailers on South Congress...so we bopped on down to check it out. All I have to say is...crispy chicken and avocado Mighty Cone...TASTE EXPLOSION!
JP was munching on some tasty fries that came with the slider cone, ha!
After that...and a short two trailers down the street, we hit up the next place for some snacks to ride home with. I was suckered in by the dill pickle popcorn, but don't be fooled by the name because you would be too!
Last but not least...we stopped of to say hi to B-Dub (aka Brian Wills the creatively talented) while he was playing ultimate frizbee.
When we finally got home there was this awesome flower in the yard that I had never seen before. I guess all that crazy rain left us a little present while we were gone!
