A few weeks ago while shooting a wedding near Austin I had the pleasure of visiting with Lynn and Johann before the arrival of Baby Emily.  They have a great backyard along a creek which provided the perfect place for some outdoor shots. While we were there they told us about a baby deer that was born under the trees this spring, and how they got to see it take the very first steps and trot off into the woods. I thought that was super cool!

Joy is JP's beautiful sister and is due to have a baby girl this August! She and her husband Andy live in Denver, CO so we were super excited to get to photograph her at a recent family trip to Seattle. The W Hotel and Olympic Sculpture Park were the perfect backdrops for our little impromptu maternity session.
